Tidenham
The village of Tidenham was settled from the earliest times and has much historical interest. The ruined St. James' Church at Lancaut is one of the earliest documented Christian sites in the Ccountry. The parish of Tidenham is perhaps best known to walkers for the Offa's Dyke Path National Trail at the Beachley Cliffs overlooking the Severn Bridge. The path runs through the parish, taking in on route the magnificent scenery of the Wye Valley. Wintours leap and Horseshoe Bend are well worth a visit. |
