The Speech House Hotel in the Forest of Dean
 A friendly hotel set in the heart of the Forest of Dean. Almost completely enveloped by trees The Speech House is the perfect place to get away from it all.Built in 1676 as a hunting lodge for King Charles II The Speech House retains much of its original character especially in the lavish restaurant. The hotel has 20 en-suite bedrooms including two luxurious 7ft x 7ft four poster beds. There is also cottage accommodation with shared facilities also as holiday cottage lets, short breaks or weekly terms.
